However, the Escape’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine gets up to 250 horsepower with 275 lb.-ft. of torque, something neither the Honda nor Toyota compact SUV rivals can match. More importantly the Ford Escape not only has a predicted improved fuel economy on its gas engines but brings back the Escape Hybrid giving you plenty of options.
