Denson’s Automotive Background & Connection with the Dalton Community

Born and raised in Dalton, Jason Denson is deeply rooted in the community. He attended Northwest Whitfield High School and Dalton State College. An avid supporter of the Ole Miss Athletic Foundation and lifetime member of the University of Mississippi Alumni Association. Jason’s love for the automotive industry was found at a very young age. In fact, he has been in the auto industry for over 20 years. He started in sales at Sale Auto Mall in 1996, then moved to Brooker Ford in 1997 (Brooker Ford had its roots in the Dalton community since the early 1960s). During his time at Brooker Ford, Denson helped grow the Commercial Fleet Department, turning it into one of the top commercial divisions in the Atlanta Area. Denson worked for Brooker Ford for over 20 years until buying the dealership, along with the Thompson Brothers, and renaming it Ford of Dalton. Today, Ford of Dalton remains one of the top Ford dealerships in North Georgia.

Getting to Know Ford of Dalton’s Owner

The Denson family, to include Jason’s wife and four children, are active supporters in both Dalton City and Whitfield County School Systems. Their family also participates in many community events and activities. They enjoy visiting local parks, especially Haig Mill Park and the Miracle Field. Most weekends are spent at the ballfield, where Jason co-coaches his son’s little league team. The Denson family is actively involved in various church activities at Pleasant Grove UMC Church. Jason is an active member in his community and serves as a board member for Family Promise, an organization dedicated to fighting children homelessness, and as a board member on the Ford Digital Advisory Council. He is an active member of the Dalton Rotary Club and the Levi Circle. When it comes to his favorite Ford vehicle, Jason is quick to tell us he loves the Ford F-150 and the classic Ford Bronco!
