Ford added a Power Stroke turbodiesel V6 engine to the lineup, providing 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. All F-150 engines route power through a 10-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels or available 4-wheel drive (4WD).

The Ford F-150 can tow up to 12,100 pounds and provides a max payload capacity of 3,230 pounds. Specific equipment is required for these figures, and towing/hauling capacities will vary based on trim/bed/cab/drivetrain selection.

At Ford of Dalton the Ford Raptor is a different beast entirely. Its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 has been tuned to put out 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission to standard 4WD. The Raptor also features upgraded Fox Racing Shox, a wider track, heavy-duty skid plates, all-terrain tires, and a unique grille design.

The F-150 provides standard forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection as standard equipment. This is in addition to standard safety features such as a reversing camera, traction control, and a full array of front and side-impact airbags. The F-150 is also available with blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, a drowsiness monitor, a surround-view camera, and an active park-assist system.
